Aluminized zinc coil is a metal coil product, usually consisting of a substrate (usually steel coil or iron coil) and a coating. This coating is composed of Aluminum (Aluminum), Zinc (Zinc) and Silicon (Silicon) alloy, so the name "aluminized zinc", also called Galvalume Coil.
The base material of aluminized zinc coil is usually cold-rolled steel plate or galvanized steel plate, and its surface is coated with a special alloy coating after a series of process treatment. The alloy coating is mainly composed of 55% aluminum, 43% zinc and 2% silicon, which solidifies at 600℃ to form a dense quaternary crystal structure.
Aluminized zinc coil has many excellent characteristics, such as strong corrosion resistance, high heat resistance and good processing performance. Its corrosion resistance is 3 times that of pure galvanized coil, which can effectively resist the erosion of atmospheric, water, acid, alkali and other chemical substances, thereby increasing the service life of the steel plate. In addition, aluminized zinc coil also has good heat resistance and can withstand high temperatures of more than 300 degrees Celsius, so it is often used in chimney tubes, ovens, illuminators and solar lampshades. In addition, aluminum plated zinc coil also has good processing properties, can be shear, stamping, bending and other processing, made into different shapes of components and parts.
